History

Snow, Huether & Coyle is a certified public accounting firm based in Huron, South Dakota. The firm is staffed by three partners that are certified public accountants, and six support staff. All of the staff are members of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. In addition, the firm is a member of the Private Companies Practice Section of the AICPA. The Section is a voluntary, self-regulatory organization of accounting firms established to foster quality performance.

Although the firm was originally established in 1955, the name was changed in 1998 to Snow, Huether & Coyle. The partners have over fifty years combined experience in public practice. Since 1955, the firm has developed the expertise to provide full service to its clients through performance of audit, accounting, tax consulting and preparation, and management advisory functions to agricultural, banking, governments, and not-for-profit entities as well as other commercial enterprises.

The firm?s objective of providing quality service to clients and its concern for the general public interest has established its reputation in the community. As part of this commitment, firm policy requires an independent review of its accounting and audit practice including an assessment of its quality control policies and procedures. The independent reviewers have concluded that the firm complies with the stringent quality control standards set by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
